Dr. Jessica Allen is a licensed audiologist and co-owner of North Georgia Audiology & Hearing Aid Centers who joined North Georgia Audiology in May 2016. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree and Master of Science degree from The University of Tennessee and her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Georgia. She is a native of Augusta, GA where she completed her residency at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Allen is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology, and the Georgia Academy of Audiology, and is excited to be in the field of Audiology. She enjoys providing hearing healthcare to the Greater Atlanta Area! Dr. Allen lives in Hoschton with her husband and daughter Nova born 2/13/2023, where she enjoys spending quality time watching movies, going on trips, and seeing her family.
Dr. Mackenzie Chambers is a licensed audiologist who joined North Georgia Audiology & Hearing Aid Center in July 2023. She is a double alumna from Auburn University earning both her Doctor of Audiology degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders. She completed her residency at a large ENT practice with locations spanning across the Atlanta metropolitan area. Dr. Chambers is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Georgia Academy of Audiology. She is passionate about serving others and believes audiology is the vessel through which she can fulfill her calling. Outside of work, Dr. Chambers enjoys spending time with family and friends, drinking lots of coffee, and running.
Jenny started at NGA in 2019 and has been in the Audiology Assistant role since 2022. From the initial fitting of hearing devices through clean and care school, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting, Jenny appreciates spending time with patients, while helping them with their hearing needs. Healthy hearing is her goal and tennis is her hobby, but traveling with her husband to cheer on their children at sporting events is her favorite past time.
Sydney joined our Johns Creek office team as Front Office Coordinator in October of 2023. She enjoys being able to connect with our patients as well as creating a warm and inviting environment for them as they come for their appointments. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family as well as her dog Franklin who is the light of her life! Sydney is excited to meet you and assist with setting you up with any appointments you may need!
Elizabeth joined the Johns Creek front office team in February of 2024. She enjoys being active, hanging out with her friends, and reading a good book. Elizabeth is eager to get to know our patients and welcome new ones as well!
Dr. C. Brooke Means is a licensed audiologist and co-owner of North Georgia Audiology & Hearing Aid Centers. She earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Georgia. She joined North Georgia Audiology in May 2015 and took on a new role as co-owner of all three NGA offices in 2022, partnering with Dr. Jessica Allen.
The hearing-impaired population has always been special to Dr. Means, as her younger brother, Nathan, was born hearing impaired. She is a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is a native of Mt. Airy, Georgia and is an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia. Dr. Means enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, singing, and cheering on the UGA Bulldawgs!
Dr. Deborah T. Woodward is the founder of North Georgia Audiology, LLC which operates Audiology and Hearing Aid Centers in Johns Creek, Gainesville and Woodstock, Georgia. Dr. Woodward earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Arizona, her Master’s degree in Audiology from Florida State University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing from Louisiana State University. Dr. Woodward has been a practicing Audiologist since 1991 and has served the hearing healthcare needs of the Johns Creek and North Georgia communities for over 20 years. She practices in Johns Creek and specializes in hearing device personalization. Dr. Woodward is a proud and active member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology, and the Georgia Academy of Audiology. Married with 2 children, she enjoys exercising and boating on Lake Lanier with her family and loves her LSU Tigers!
Danette has been with North Georgia Audiology since the fall of 2020. She is from Alabama, where she received her certification and worked as a physical therapy assistant for 6 years. Danette earned an Audiology Assistant Certificate from Nova Southeastern. She enjoys spending time with her two children, watching Alabama football & Braves baseball, and reading books. Danette attends Atlanta Road Church of Christ where she volunteers with Clothing Closet Giveaways. Danette is excited to share her talents with our Gainesville patients. She will be available on either a scheduled or walk-in basis, who are in need of hearing aid repair, and can also provide extra guidance on proper cleaning and maintenance of devices.
Misty joined our team as the Front Office Coordinator at our Gainesville location in February 2023. She is a native of Northeast Georgia where she enjoys spending time with her family and service dog Lottie. She also enjoys dirt track racing (cars and karts), drag racing, and a host of other opportunities to fellowship with and serve others. Misty is very passionate about hearing healthcare and loves helping our patients along their journey to better hearing!
Stacie joined our team in April 2023, initially serving in our Johns Creek location and joining the Gainesville staff in 2024. She loves spending time with her family, her dog Wilson, and a tall glass of Coca Cola. She attends Covenant Connections Church where she is part of the drama and production department. She is excited to get to know all the NGA patients!
Dr. Hannah Jones is a licensed audiologist who is excited to serve those with hearing healthcare needs in Cherokee County and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Jones received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Georgia State University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Audiology from University of South Florida. She has great experience working with pediatrics and adults for diagnostics, hearing aid selections, and fittings. Dr. Jones has also developed cochlear implant programs in the past and has a passion for those who are interested in implantable technology. Her goal is to find the best solution that best fits a patient’s hearing loss and lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time with her cats. She grew up in North Georgia and is excited to be back closer to family and friends.
Melissa Bruns joined the North Georgia Audiology team in 2020 as the front office assistant. Since joining the team, she has progressed in her role to Audiology Assistant. Melissa arrived with 11 years of customer service management experience. Her prior work experience provided her with the understanding of the importance of building positive relationships with patients and providing excellent customer service. Melissa is available to our patients who need hearing aid troubleshooting or repair on either a scheduled or walk-in basis. She can provide extra guidance on proper cleaning and maintenance of hearing aids, including help with Bluetooth features and insertion and removal of hearing devices. When she is not at work, Melissa loves exploring Woodstock with her family and dog named Taco.
Katie Simon is the front desk operative in the Woodstock office. Originally from New Jersey, Katie has lived in the Woodstock area for 10 years. A sum cum laud graduate from Elmira College, she has a degree is speech language pathology and audiology. Katie is the mother of four, including a set of twins! Prior to NGA Katie has worked in education as well as customer service. Katie is the first voice you hear or face you see when calling or stopping by. She is eager to assist you with any questions you may have or appointments you may need.
Caleb joined the North Georgia Audiology team in January 2022 as the Business Accounts Director. He spent the last decade working in Logistics where he worked his way up to management level positions and is excited to bring his knowledge to the hearing healthcare industry. Caleb obtained his MBA degree in May 2023 from Georgia Southern University. He was born and raised in Northeast Georgia where he resides with his wife and two children. His family attends Liberty Baptist Church where he serves as the Youth Director. Caleb loves spending time with family, fishing, playing golf, and watching college football (Go Dawgs!).
